Overview
We are looking for a reliable, committed and quality-orientated person. You can look forward to an open, friendly team and a varied area of responsibility with plenty of room for manoeuvre.
From lorry loading and incoming goods bookings to storage, order picking and dispatch - no two days are the same for us. Thanks to lean management, we ensure efficiency and quality in the warehouse.
You will work closely with other departments, gain cross-departmental insights and expand your expertise. Our experienced team will support you with your onboarding so that your start at SKAN runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Accept deliveries and check for defects
- Proper storage of goods
- Providing materials in accordance with the process, including setting up projects using scanners
- Preparing, packing and labelling worldwide shipments including hazardous goods
- Internal plant transport with the Iveco transporter (Cat. B driving licence required)
- Managing the assembly warehouse according to the Kanban principle
- Inventory tasks
Hardskills
- Completed vocational training as a logistics technician EFZ mandatory
- Professional experience in logistics, ideally in an industrial environment
- Valid driving licence Cat. B and SUVA-recognised forklift licence (for counterbalance and reach trucks)
- SUVA recognised licence for aerial work platforms
- Experience in working with scanners
- Very good written and spoken German, knowledge of English an advantage
- GMP knowledge and knowledge of handling hazardous goods an advantage
- SAP and Excel skills an advantage
