Service & Qualification Technician

Overview

 

As service and commissioning technician in a dynamic team, your responsibilities will include the professional installation and commissioning of state-of-the-art laboratory workbenches and cleanroom systems for our customers. 
In addition to this core task, you will carry out relocations, handle service work including repairs, and perform qualifications on our state-of-the-art systems directly at our customers’ sites. In doing so, you will regularly work in demanding laboratory and cleanroom environments.
You do not necessarily need to bring the required technical expertise with you, as we will provide you with comprehensive and intensive training to prepare you for all upcoming assignments. Your area of operation covers the regions of Bern, Lausanne, and Valais. Therefore, your place of residence should ideally be within this service area. If returning home on the same day is not feasible, you will stay overnight directly at the job site.
You will work hand in hand with motivated and extremely helpful teammates, while your supervisor will support you to the best of their ability to ensure the smooth execution of your tasks.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Installation and commissioning of new systems, primarily in laboratory environments in the region between Bern, Lausanne, and Valais (including safety cabinets and cleanroom systems)
  • Maintenance, repairs, and relocation of existing systems at our customers’ sites
  • Conducting room decontamination
  • Qualification of cleanrooms, cleanroom systems, and laboratory equipment
  • Supporting and advising our discerning clients in the laboratory technology sector in Switzerland

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, HVAC, building services engineering, or comparable)
  • Ideally, several years of professional experience as a service and maintenance technician or in technical field service
  • Experience in the GMP environment as well as in the area of calibration and/or qualification of systems is an advantage
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Very good German language skills are mandatory; French language skills are particularly advantageous for assignments in the Lausanne region
  • Category B driver’s license required
  • Ideally residing in the region between Bern, Lausanne, and Valais
