SCADA Engineer
Founded in 1968 as a trading company for Scandinavian laboratory equipment, SKAN is now global market leader in the specialist area of isolator construction for aseptic applications. One of our core competencies is the manufacture of process isolators for pharmaceutical-aseptic production. Even the most complex customer requirements can be fulfilled thanks to the experts at our in-house laboratories who research innovative solutions for isolator technology.
At a glance
We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer to strengthen our international team in Allschwil. As part of the "Process Automation" division, the team is responsible for the development of robotic process systems using the latest technology. In this role, you will create visualizations, control, and data acquisition systems to provide an information interface for our customers. Quick thinking and excellent programming skills are necessary for this job.
Responsibilities
- Development of complex machine-oriented visualizations and SCADA systems for the pharmaceutical industry
- Design, development, and configuration of network systems
- Creation and testing of software modules
- Execution & documentation of program tests in the context of a standard and GMP-conform software qualification
- Commissioning (IBS) at SKAN and at customer site
Hardskills
- Education as engineer FH, HF with specialization in automation or technical informatics
- Several years of professional experience in OOP software development (C# an advantage)
- Experience in programming SCADA systems (COPA-DATA zenon advantageous)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases
- Good knowledge of the configuration and administration of Windows operating systems and network technology
- Good technical English skills, German is an advantage
