Overview

 

The Equipment Calibration department manages all test and measurement devices used by our customers around the world. You will be the central point of contact for all topics related to measuring and test equipment. By ensuring that our metrology systems operate reliably, in compliance with standards, and efficiently, you make a key contribution to quality assurance and product development. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Metrology Engineer to help ensure and further develop our metrology processes at the highest level.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Evaluation, testing, and continuous improvement of measuring and test equipment as well as measurement strategies
  • Selection, coordination, and support of external calibration laboratories
  • Analysis and interpretation of measurement data to support manufacturing and development processes
  • Organization, documentation, and tracking of calibrations
  • Full lifecycle management of test equipment – from procurement to maintenance and decommissioning
  • Close collaboration with the Quality, Development, and Production departments, as well as team representation when required

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics, precision engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Solid expertise in metrology
  • Experience with international quality standards and testing methods
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong command of both German and English, spoken and written
  • Clean criminal record required (BAZL zone – no entries in the criminal register permitted)
