Overview

 

The SKAN Academy plays a key role in ensuring technical excellence, consistent quality, and knowledge retention across the organization. It provides structured training for SKAN employees and customers worldwide, enabling the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of SKAN systems. Through global training standards, structured knowledge management, and close collaboration with subsidiaries and technical functions, the Academy ensures that expertise is systematically developed and shared.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Define and implement the global strategy of the SKAN Academy in alignment with corporate objectives
  • Lead and further develop the SKAN Academy team, fostering a performance-oriented and collaborative culture
  • Own and continuously improve the full lifecycle of training programs (needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation)
  • Ensure high-quality technical training for Field Service Engineers and other technical functions worldwide
  • Develop and continuously enhance customer training programs in alignment with the product and service portfolio as well as regulatory requirements
  • Establish and maintain a structured knowledge management system, ensuring systematic capture, standardization, and accessibility of technical knowledge
  • Drive innovation in learning methodologies (classroom, digital formats, hands-on training)
  • Collaborate closely with subsidiaries and technical departments to align global standards with local needs 

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Technical or scientific degree (Engineering, Life Sciences, or comparable) or a degree in training, education, or learning & development with strong technical affinity
  • Several years of experience in technical training and learning & development, ideally in an international environment
  • Experience with blended learning and other modern learning methodologies is highly desirable
  • Proven leadership experience is required
  • Experience in a regulated, industrial, or high-tech environment is highly desirable
  • Exposure to matrix organizations
  • Fluent in English and German (both required)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, process-oriented, and quality-focused mindset
  • Passion for developing people and building sustainable knowledge structures
