Overview

 

In this new role are you responsible for optimizing the global procurement of indirect goods and services (e.g., CAPEX, IT, marketing). You will develop and implement a global procurement strategy to reduce costs, enhance supplier performance, and optimize processes. You will oversee global and regional Category Managers. Furthermore, the responsibility also contains Global and Regional Category Manager responsibility in which you will, manage supplier relationships, negotiate frame agreements, ensure risk mitigation, compliance, and value creation.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Establish and develop global strategy and responsibilities for Indirect Spend
  • Build up and lead the indirect procurement team, providing strategic direction, mentoring, negotiation and performance management
  • Support the Global Head of Procurement in building the global procurement organization
  • Manage and strategically develop Indirect Spend categories
  • Building up and implementing a lean and efficient Source - /P2P process for Indirect spend categories
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the indirect procurement space
  • Risk Management, Resilience and Compliance are covered in your category strategy and processes

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, further procurement education, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a significant portion in indirect spend categories
  • Proven track record of managing global procurement categories and leading successful negotiations
  • Experience in working in a multinational matrix organization is highly desirable
  • Experience in pharmaceutical environment is an asset
  • Fluency in English and German
