Overview
The newly established team for electrical and pneumatic testing is part of the Electrical Engineering department, which also includes the Subproject Management and Strategy teams. As Functional Coordinator, you will lead your own team with personnel responsibility and collaborate closely with subproject managers, electrical assembly, and the Commissioning & Qualification team across multiple sites.
You will play a central, proactive role in building the organization, onboarding new employees, establishing processes, and developing guidelines—always with a strong focus on ensuring electrical safety for both people and systems.
Responsibilities

Lead a team of electrical and pneumatic testing specialists (E-Testing Engineers) with full personnel responsibility

Define, implement, and ensure adherence to processes, test instructions, and quality standards within the team

Ensure electrical safety within the department

Prioritize and coordinate projects and tasks within the team

Conduct initial and recurring tests on electrical and pneumatic systems to ensure electrical safety and document the results

Work closely with the Head of Electrical Engineering to strategically develop the department
Hardskills
-
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., electronics technician, electrician, or equivalent)

Further qualification allowing control and inspection activities under national regulations (e.g., according to NIV Art. 27 or similar)

Several years of experience in a comparable operational function

Hands-on experience with electrical testing and the use of measurement and test equipment

Commitment to continuous self-development and sharing of knowledge within the team

Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is an advantage

Fluent in written and spoken English and German
