Overview

 

The Sales Engineering department consists of 16 teram members. In this team, you will check international customer requirements (URS) for our complex isolator projects (back office sales). Our internal training program combined with your experience within a technical sales department will help you to comment those requests. Furthermore, you will carry out technical and commercial enquiries with various departments and use configurators to create quotations and service descriptions for the international sales managers (front office sales). Your technical expertise in the field of mechanical engineering or pharmaceutical engineering is very important for this position. You can also further expand and deepen your existing technical knowledge with us. The open-minded, international and cooperative team looks forward to your support and will help you familiarise yourself with the job.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Review and comment of User Requirement Specification
  • Calculation and preparation of offers in collaboration with internal departments
  • Project planning and design of our machines for new customer projects worldwide
  • Participation to clarification meetings with customers to support the front office
  • Creation and support of products in the configurator through to the preparation of calculations and offers (costs, logic and calculations, technical description text, drawings, photos)  
  • Updating sales documents and tools 

 

 

Hardskills

 

 

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or automation
  • Several years of professional experience in technical sales are essential
  • Very good knowledge of English is required, ideally also a similar German skill level
