Overview
The position as a Engineer for Commissioning and Qualification of our state-of-the-art machines in an international pharmaceutical environment offers you the opportunity to use your technical knowledge while continuously learning in a dynamic work setting.
Our fantastic team as well as the SKAN Academy training program will support you in your new role. Ideally, you have a strong team spirit and also several years of experience in a technical field with international travel activities.
At SKAN, you will spend around 50% of your time on-site at our customer site (pharma), commissioning and qualifying our isolators. This gives you the chance to experience new cultures and actively use your language skills while working on exciting projects worldwide.
Responsibilities

Commissioning of (Isolator-) systems as well as peripherals and working with common PLCs

Input/Output Tests (I/O-Tests) and line-Tests

Documentation according to cGMP
-
Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) of (Isolator-) systems:

Design document checks against plant (PID-Diagram, Electrical & Pneumatic Diagram or Label lists)

Sensor / Instrument calibration and adjustment

Qualification of ventilation system (Filter test, air velocity mapping and cleanliness class)

Alarm testing & Functional tests

Documentation according to cGMP

Troubleshooting, Analysis and elimination of mechanical, electrical or software deviations
Hardskills
- Engineer in the field of Mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, systems engineering or similar
- Basic knowledge in handling of common PLCs (mostly Siemens and Rockwell Allen-Bradley)
- Professional experience in the field of commissioning is an advantage
- Working in GMP environment is ideal
- Car Driving license is a must
- Very good English skills are required, german is a plus
- Due to the high amount of business travel, residence in Allschwil or the surrounding area (or willingness to relocate) is a big plus
