Overview

 

The SKAN Laboratory specialises in the production and testing of bioindicators and is a key partner for questions relating to microbiological validation procedures. As part of our team of five production staff in the laboratory, you will work closely with your colleagues to reliably produce our globally recognised bioindicators.
These tasks are largely routine – ideal for anyone who enjoys working with precision. At the same time, if you’re interested, you can get to know and support other areas within the laboratory. Responsibilities

 

  • Cultivation and preparation of bacterial cultures (BSL-1)
  • Production of biological indicators, including documentation of all work steps in accordance with ISO and GMP guidelines
  • Carrying out various support tasks: 
    • Preparation, sterilisation and quality control of culture media
    • Packaging of the produced indicators
  • Support in the organisation of the laboratory and ensuring GMP-compliant workflows

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Completed laboratory education in biology or equivalent work experience, preferably with experience in microbiology
  • Basic knowledge of GMP is desirable
  • Good command of German and English is required
