At a glance

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our SCADA Engineering team in Allschwil. The SCADA team programs and develops visualizations and SCADA systems for isolator projects in the pharmaceutical environment. You will implement and supervise the projects through to commissioning. Validation, software engineering and complex project management of automation projects are not carried out in this department. We mainly program Siemens or Allen Bradley control systems and regularly discuss new developments during our "snack breaks".

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Development and programming of machine-oriented visualisations and cross-machine SCADA systems in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Realisation of the implementation and supervision of the execution up to the commissioning of the systems, partly also on site at the customer 
  • Integration of product-specific functions and definition of test specifications
  • Maintenance and further development of software systems, testing of modules 
  • Installation of computer systems and applications 
  • Design, development and configuration of network systems
  • Support in the creation and editing of design documents 

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Training as an engineer FH, HF with specialisation in automation or technical informatics
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical background
  • Knowledge of programming with VBA, C#, .NET, SCADA systems: e.g. WinCC, Zenon, FactoryTalk View SE
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases
  • Experience in the field of virtualisation (ESXi)
  • Good knowledge of the configuration and administration of Windows operating systems and network technology 
  • German and good technical English skills
