Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join Tobias Schneidler's international, 20 people strong Robotics Engineering team. As part of the ‘Process Automation’ department, the team is responsible for the development of state-of-the-art robotic process systems. You will realise and supervise the projects through to commissioning at the customer's site. In addition to qualification, the documentation of the software is just as much a part of this as the tuning and testing of process systems.
The SCADA/HMI and process control level as well as project management are not part of your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Development and commissioning of automation software for robot-controlled process machines in the GMP environment
- Creation of automation specifications for hardware and software
- Execution and documentation of programme tests based on given system architecture as well as GMP and standard-compliant qualification
- Technical reviews of software & software documents
- Collaboration and support with process descriptions and procedures in connection with automated process stations
- Construction and commissioning of test stations in the laboratory
- Commissioning (IBS) at SKAN and at the customer's site
Hardskills
- Education as an engineer FH, HF with specialisation in automation or technical computer science
- At least 5 years of practical experience in an industrialised environment with a focus on PLC, automation & programming (mandatory)
- PLC programming with object-oriented high-level languages and / or in SCL (IEC 61131-3) with DevOps support tools (Beckhoff knowledge an advantage)
- Fluent in English or German
