Overview

 

We are looking for an experienced automation developer to join our international, 15-strong Robotics Engineering team led by Tobias Schneidler. As part of the "Process Automation" division, the team is responsible for the automation of process systems with robotics, vision and motion applications in the pharmaceutical environment. They realise and supervise projects through to commissioning. In addition to documentation, software validation is just as much a part of this as tuning and testing of process systems. Programming is carried out on TwinCat3 (Beckoff) with an object-orientated approach.
The SCADA/HMI and process control level as well as project management are not part of the area of responsibility.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Commissioning of process & robotic systems
  • Programming & parameterisation of process systems, robotics & transport systems
  • PLC programming with object-oriented high-level languages and / or in SCL (IEC 61131-3) with DevOps support tools
  • Creation of automation designs and technical documents
  • Execution and documentation of programme tests based on given system architecture as well as GMP and standard-compliant qualification
  • Collaboration and support with process descriptions and procedures in connection with automated process stations
  • Set-up and commissioning of test stations in the laboratory
  • Technical reviews of software & software documents 
  • Simulation & analyses for digital twin with PLC & robotics 

 

 

Hardskills

 

  • Diploma as technician HF / engineer FH system technology 
  • At least 3 years practical experience in an industrialised environment with a focus on PLC, automation & programming (mandatory)
  • Fluency in English & German
  • Commissioning and software development experience an advantage
  • Experience with drive systems an advantage
