Overview

 

Yves Meppiel's current team of 6 Automation Consultants aims to use their automation expertise to develop and programme new Skan products, among other things. In this role, you will also help to realise interesting customer projects as a consultant, which are currently still outside the Skan ecosystem.
As a team member in this technically complex field, you can constantly develop yourself and grow personally. What is unique about this role is that it includes customer contact, product development, cost estimates, quotations, price negotiations and project realisation in one. It is important to us that, in addition to  technical knowledge and interest, you also have organisational skills, good communication skills and a high degree of reliability.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Concept design of automation and process control systems as well as operational technology infrastructure (servers, networks)

  • Clarification of customer requirements and preparation of customer-specific solutions and offers

  • Preparation of qualification documents and documentation

  • Installing server/client systems and programming automation and process control systems

  • Carrying out system tests and start-ups

  • Assumption of project manager functions with appropriate experience

 

Hardskills

 

  • Technical education and university degree HF/FH

  • Several years of experience in programming automation and process control systems is a must

  • Experience in the OT area: networks, servers, as well as virtualisation with e.g. ESXi

  • Preferably you have experience in project management in the field of life science or chemistry

  • Knowledge and experience in the area of GxP, CSV etc.

  • Basic german skills are required
