Overview
As Application Support, you will be the contact person in Michael Palmer's team for all aspects of SKAN's business application as 1st level support for our key users and users worldwide. As part of our support team you are responsible for the operation and training as well as 1st contact person for the software and accompany our applications in SAP S/4HANA, PRO. File, Salesforce and other business applications. The diverse and competent team is already looking forward to your support.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the ticket pool, viewing, qualifying and resolving (1st/2nd level) or coordinating (2nd/3rd level) new customer enquiries and monitoring incidents.
- Administration of existing customer enquiries including monitoring of processing status and proactive follow-up
- Continuous improvement of the systems through independent implementation of change requests and learning from support activities
- Routine customising of the system landscape with focus on SAP ERP (all modules) and Pro.File PDM but also various peripheral systems (SAP C4C, Concur, SuccessFactors & non-SAP applications such as SalesForce, Jira, Orbit.Online etc.)
- Building up in-depth knowledge of the organisation and industry to advise the specialist departments on process and system issues
- Conducting basic and advanced training for our employees
- Supporting system updates and creating/updating test plans
- Steering external partners and coordination between consulting firms
Hardskills
- Experience in at least 2 SAP modules
- Experience in ITIL, agile methodology and collaboration with external consultants
- Debugging, shortdump and log analysis skills are an advantage
- Initial experience with integration technologies such as IFlows and web services, IDoc or RFC
- Very good expression and language skills (written and spoken German and English)
